(2.6.4) Upload or attach files that contain viruses, corrupted files or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of another’s computer;

(2.6.5) Delete any author attributions, legal notices or proprietary designations or labels in any file that is uploaded;

(2.6.6) Falsify the origin or source of software or other material contained in a file that is uploaded;

(2.6.7) Advertise or offer to sell any goods or services, or conduct or forward surveys, contests or chain letters, or download any file posted by another user of a Forum that the User knows, or reasonably should know, cannot be legally distributed in such manner. 

(2.7) The User acknowledges that all Forums and discussion groups are public and not private communications. Further, the User acknowledges that chats, postings, conferences, e-mails and other communications by other Users are not endorsed by the International Trade Centre, and that such communications shall not be considered to have been reviewed, screened or approved by the International Trade Centre. The International Trade Centre reserves the right to remove, for any reason and without notice, any content of the Forums received from Users, including, without limitation, e-mail and bulletin board postings.
 

 3.0 Preservation of Immunities

(3.1) Nothing herein shall constitute or be considered to be a limitation upon or a waiver of the privileges and immunities of the International Trade Centre, which are specifically reserved.

(4.1) The International Trade Centre reserves its exclusive right in its sole discretion to alter, limit or discontinue the Site or any Materials in any respect. The International Trade Centre shall have no obligation to take the needs of any User into consideration in connection therewith. 

(4.2) The International Trade Centre reserves the right to deny in its sole discretion any user access to this Site or any portion thereof without notice. 

(4.3) No waiver by the International Trade Centre of any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall be binding except as set forth in writing and signed by its duly authorized representative.

  • When you sign up for events such as workshops, pitching events and webinars.

8.0 Mode and place of processing the Data

(8.1) Methods of processing

The Data Controller processes the Data of Users in a proper manner and shall take appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorized destruction of the Data.


The Data processing is carried out using computers and/or IT enabled tools, following organizational procedures and modes strictly related to the purposes indicated. In addition to the Data Controller, in some cases, the Data may be accessible to certain types of persons in charge, involved with the operation of the site (administration, sales, marketing, legal, system administration) or external parties (such as third party technical service providers, mail carriers, hosting providers, IT companies, communications agencies) appointed, if necessary, as Data Processors by the Owner. The updated list of these parties may be requested from the Data Controller at any time.

The Data is kept for the time necessary to provide the service requested by the User, or stated by the purposes outlined in this document, and the User can always request that the Data Controller suspend or remove the data.

9.0 The use of the collected Data

The Data concerning the User is collected to allow the Owner to provide its services, as well as for the following purposes: Access to third party services' accounts and Contacting the User.

(9.1) Sharing with others

In some cases we share your personal data with third parties. ITC can share your personal data with:

(i)clients or partners of ITC;
(ii)third parties, as supervisory authorities and other bodies, to comply with legal obligations;

We will only transfer your personal data to the above mentioned third parties for the purposes stated in this privacy statement, and only to the extent that is permitted under the applicable law and regulations, or if ITC is obligated to provide the personal data to a competent authority.

Third parties to whom we transfer your personal data are themselves responsible for compliance with applicable data protection law. ITC is neither responsible nor liable for the processing of your personal data by these third parties.

(9.2) Transfer outside of the EEA 

To be able to provide our services, it might be necessary that we transfer your personal data to other countries, whether or not a member state of the European Union, who ensure an adequate level of protection. In that case, we will take all measures necessary to transfer the personal data in a lawful manner to such countries.
