Member Christabell Afrane, took part in USAID’s Day of the Girl Child Expo which took place in Accra on 11 October to commemorate the International Day of the Girl Child. Sanjana Sanghi’s enterprise which is based in Mumbai, Pop-up Hut, has started selling customised Diwali hampers in preparation for next week. We think they look gorgeous!

The Sustainable Alternative Lighting Corp., a social startup founded by Aisa Mijeno, has entered the BPI Sintag Accelerate 2016 - People’s Choice Awards. The enterprise aims to help the marginalized island sector of the Philippines who do not have access to electricity by partnering with NGOs and foundation to help purchase and distribute the lamps for sustainable growth.
