Ready to #UpgradeYourHustle?

Happening on the 21st of June 2019 at JoziHub in Johannesburg, South Africa,Ye! and Startup Academy SA are teaming up to offer a one-day training for 30 young entrepreneurs. The training follows Startup Academy SA’s series of successful trainings called, #UpgradeYourHustle. Through partnering on this event, Ye! and Startup Academy SA are bringing in a team of top-notch trainers to share their vast knowledge on digital marketing, business management, and legal guidance, to ensure South Africa’s young entrepreneurs are equipped with the digital skills and entrepreneurial knowledge they need to operate a successful enterprise.

The training is being done in collaboration with experienced partners like Mastercard Foundation, the Players of the People’s Postcode Lottery, Digify Africa supported by Facebook and the Lex Mundi International Pro Bono Foundation whose local partner, Bowman’s Law Firm will be present to answer Q&A for young entrepreneurs in attendance.

By bringing together these partners, Ye! and Startup Academy SA are working to build a stronger startup ecosystem for young entrepreneurs; ensuring the knowledge, resources, and expertise of these organizations are available to young entrepreneurs across South Africa. With this #UpgradeYourHustle x Ye! collaboration, both organizations are taking steps to make operating a business as a youth, easier.

In fact, this tailor made training will have a follow up. Ye! And Startup Academy SA will connect the 30 young entrepreneurs selected to attend the training to the Bowman’s Law Firm pro bono services and the Startup Academy’s proven curriculum in order to continue to support them in building their entrepreneurial skills and work with them to develop their enterprises.

• 30 years old or younger

• Operating the startup for no less than 6 months (demonstrates operational activity)

The business:

• Based in South Africa

• Has a team in place

• Registration or Incorporation of the business is not mandatory
