This event is purely youth focused and youth-led. The Ye! Chapter in Ghana is led by social entrepreneur Wilson Amooro, the Ye! Ambassador for Ghana. This young entrepreneur is active in his community, where he organizes meetups and activities to support his fellow youth entrepreneurs. The Ye! Chapter in Ghana aims to facilitate the creation of a stronger ecosystem for youth-led enterprises in order to reduce youth unemployment.

The convention seeks to address some of the biggest issues and challenges faced by young entrepreneurs in Ghana. Some of these issues include, lack of knowledge on financial and business management, lack of strong role models, lack of access to networks, and limited knowledge of how to best market their products or services.

The convention will therefore focus on the following three key topics:

  • Financial Management; funding, when to scale, budgeting, money management and investor readiness
  • Business Management; business modeling, marketing, customer segmenting, market readiness
  • Leadership; soft skills, team management, how to be a great leader
